Mae-Salong Thai Restaurant , Sungai Petani

Only when my hubby upload these photos on last few day  , I realised I missed blogging about this place in my mum 's  hometown. I actually went there during Hari Raya for dinner :P Anyways, I hope it’s not too late to blog and until now, the review of the place is so far still good and standard is still maintained.

Mae Salong Restaurant!

Isn't it a special name?
It is actually a name of a village in northernmost of Thailand.
And it means "Hill of Peace"

Peaceful isn't it? =D

After we placed our orders, I took a stroll around this place… and took lots of photos too..

:) My favorite little canopy ~

Served with the appetizer - Ikan Bilis with Peanut.

10 minutes later, our order arrived.. it was very fast…
Steamed kapah(clams) with garlic and lemon juice… nice!(Spicer than it looks)

Kangkong Belancan

Pandan chicken… was also succulent and  flavourful (Recommended + thumb up)

Ikan Panggan from Outside Malay Stall , RM10 each

Fruit Rojak

Dessert Cendol

Plain Rice :p

3 dishes , Fruit Rojak , Dessert and a jar of "ma tai" drink only cost RM60

And also please don't forget to buy the juicy "mangga" when the waiters recommended , it is the biggest mangga fruit I ever seen and it only RM5 for one packet !!!

Well, this place should be visited at around sunset or night.
Then you will be truly fascinated by the lighting and the landscapes of the surroundings.
