From Malaysia to Koh Lipe@Thailand

Koh Lipe pronouce as "Lee-peeh" situated in Thailand and very near to Langkawi Malaysia. 

Although it wasn't as famous as Phuket or Krabi but there are quite a lots of website giving 

information about this island. Today I will share the option to get to Koh Lipe from Malaysia.The only way to get to Koh Lipe is by boat, there's no airport in the island.As far as I know,
there are two main jetties (closest to Malaysia) that offers boat services to Koh Lipe. One is the Pak Barra Jetty (thailand)  , and the other one is the Telaga Harbour (Langkawi). Yet we go to Koh Lipe from PakBarra Jetty.
Koh Lipe,听说中文翻译叫做丽贝岛。就坐落在泰国，但是非常靠近马来西亚朗卡威岛。虽然没有像普吉岛或甲米岛那么出名，不过还是可以在不少网站找到丽贝岛的相关资料。但是今天我还是会分享一下我从马来西亚到丽贝岛的路线以及方法。想到丽贝岛的唯一方法就是坐船，岛上是没有飞机场的哦！所以别问坐飞机可不可以到=0= 有两个码头有船可以直接到丽贝岛，一个是在泰国的Pak Bara 码头，而另一个是朗卡威的Telaga Harbour
码头。我们选择了前者。

Ok, LET WE START HERE
We drive  1.5 hours through Alor Setar, Kedah @Malaysia to Wang Kelian for

immigration, then continue driving for an hour toThai to Pak Barra, and take an hour speed 

boat to Koh Lipe. Pak Barra located in La-Ngu, a small town  in Satun Province. Luckily we 

did a lot of research before so we didn't had a hard time to find Pak Barra in GPS. You also 

can go Thai from Bukit Kayu Hitam, but you have to ready for long queue and inferior scene 

compare to Wang Kelian.

我们从吉打出发，驾了大概两个小时半才到Pak-Bara码头（吉打到Wang Kelian 一个小时半，然后从Wang Kelian到Pak Bara 码头是一个小时）然后再花了一小时多坐快艇

才到丽贝岛。Pak-Bara码头就在La-Ngu,泰国Satun一个小镇里头。幸好我们在好几个月前就

作了好多功课，还不至于迷路或者是手忙脚乱的。其实另一个从马来西亚入境到泰国的地

方是Bukit Kayu Hitam，那里比较多人入境所以常常需要大排场龙，而且一路上的风景没有

Wang Kelian 漂亮，所以很多摄影师入境到泰国都是选择了Wang Kelian 这条路。

Wang Kelian Checkpoint

Just drive into the small corridor on the left ,last windows of immigration counter for 
immigration chop.
直接把车子驾进左手边的小走廊里， 然后给最后一个窗户里的人盖章。

There are a few shoplots beside the immigration. If you haven't buy any insurance for your 

car, you can still do it at one of the shoplot. For us, we bought the car insurance in 

insurance institutions in Malaysia.

在泰国和马来西亚之间，可以买车卡以及车保险。不过我们在马来西亚就已经买了保险，所

以在这里省下了不少时间。

In the middle between Thai & Malysia border. You can park on left and fill in your arrival card.

到了这里就要下车填入境表格啦！车子可以停放在左手边的空位。

And then you have to get an arrival card from here.

右手边就是拿入境表格的地方。

Once you filled in your arrival card and departure card, you have to queue in front of the immigration counter for chop and pay RM2 for each person.

一旦写好了入境表格，就需要排队准备盖章啦！一个人要付RM2入境费。

After overgo the second corridor, you will see a small market. We decided to have our simple breakfast here :)

一旦过境之后，进入眼帘的就是一条小街道，小市集。我们决定在这里吃一点东西才继续上路。

They only sell fried food so we don't have other option. But luckily they accept Thai Baht and Malaysia Ringgit, so we can spend our extra Thai Baht here while we come back from Koh Liph :p

我们来的时间还真早，才早上9点多。这里只有卖炸料，没有其他多余的选择。不过这里好在泰币马币通用。如果从丽贝岛回来发现还有多余的泰币的话，可以在这里花掉。这里下午就会很热闹，什么东西都有，不只是吃的。

From Wang Kelian to Pak Bara La Ngu

We did follow the signboard 4184 at the beginning, and following signboard too.

这里就正式进入到泰国啦！因为路牌都是大大的泰文，小小的英文，所以我们都看号码牌，而且准确无误哦！一开始跟着4184的路牌走就对了。

There's only one way to go, until you reach this T-junction.

这里只有一条路，所以不用太担心走错路，直到这个路口。

After turned to your right hand side, you can found a large TESCO LOTUS sign on your right hand side.

转右之后就会看到大大的Tesco Lotus超市在你的右手边。

Ok, then you can see the Pak Bara Pier from now.

不久后就可以看到Pak Bara码头的告示牌了。

We get the shortest,easiest way from 406 Satun. But actually you can follow 416 too, we also reach 416 after then.

然后就要开始留意406 Satun 的路牌了。其实也可以直接跟着416走，不过我们选择了比较简单比较近的路来走。过了406之后我们还是走回416的。

Turn right again afterward.

然后在这个路口再转右。

Found Tesco Lotus Express on your left hand side.

然后又看到一间小小的Tesco Lotus Express在左手边。

依然直走，记得看牌哦！

Turn left when you see this red store.

看到这红色店面的时候就要转左了。

Keep going.

然后又再直走。

After pass through the bridge and drive about 20min to reach Pak Bara Pier.

过了桥后再驾个20分钟左右就可以到达Pak Bara码头了。

Our agent Adang Sea. They reserved a car park for us so we no need worry about the car park problem.

我们的中介Adang Sea.因为之前有预定了，所以他们早已准备好停车位给我们，所以我们不用担心车位的问题啦。

Speedboat to Koh Lipe

We took a speeedboat (1000 Thai Baht return ticket, one way 500 Thai Baht) that goes to Koh Lipe through Koh Bulon and Tarutao. So it will stop in the middle of the sea to drop people off. Direct boat will save more time and less possibility of seasick when they stop in the middle of the sea.
我们搭乘快艇到丽贝岛(来回船票1000泰币,单程则是500泰币），途中还有经过Koh Bulon和Tarutao，停一站，让大家下去拍拍照，走个10分钟然后再上船。直达丽贝岛的快艇就不会在这里停下啦，适合有晕船的人，让他们可以快快抵达丽贝岛。

Bring along this seapass until you get your speedboat ticket from person in charge.

中介给了我们一人一张seapass,到时候在码头可以向负责人换船票。

Koh Bulon

Tarutao

There is no pier in Koh Lipe, so the speedboat will stop in the floating platform near the island. You can take a long tail boat for 50 baht(RM5, they only accept Thai Baht lol...) to board the island. Or if you want to save that RM5, you can swim xD

丽贝岛是没有码头的，所以快艇会停靠在一个漂浮的平台上，然后再付50块钱泰币来搭乘Long Tail Boat(有点像Sampan的，会晃得很厉害）如果你想省下那50泰币的话，你也可以选择自己游过去，不会太深，但从没见过有人那么做就对了xD

Just few minutes long tail boat to Koh Lipe Pattaya Beach.

搭乘Long Tail Boat 几分钟就可以到丽贝岛的Pattaya Beach 了。
