Danok Waterview Restaurant @Danok, Thailand

Waterview Restaurant is one of the most visited restaurant in Danok. The restaurant is located quite outside from the main town. The road lead to there is very small, so my family bring me to there before sunset.

Waterview 餐廳是Danok其中一個很值得去嘗一嘗的地方。餐廳就坐落在從Kastam Bukit Kayu Hitam 進來泰國的右手處。途中去Waterview餐廳的路又小又狹，建議第一次去的朋友們最好在日落之前就去啊！

When we walk to out sitting place, I got so fascinate by this place love how the decoration in a tradisional concept: kampung style decoration by using the dry coconut leaved to build the rood, low table for us to sit and pillow to support us when we are lazy. Another one great thing about this place is we have a fantastic view by overlooking the lake and hills. We feel so relax even though that day was a hot day and we feel like we are in sauna. 

還沒到門口就已經有服務生站在門口歡迎我們並且帶我們到座位上。一路走來，被這裡美麗的景色吸引得目不轉睛。這裡的裝潢是採用非常原始傳統的裝飾，屋頂是由乾椰葉造的，用餐的桌子也很低，必須坐在地板上（有坐墊）用餐，還有厚厚的枕頭讓我們靠著。吃過晚餐後可以就這麼躺著欣賞湖邊的風景還有享受徐徐吹來的風，很舒適。雖然當天的天氣真的熱得好像在做桑拿一樣，不過這一點也不影響我們的興致。

This shows how big is the restaurant and what I have been and what I have been told, if you do come during dinner or the night session, it would be even nicer as the whole restaurant is light up beautifully but will miss the scenery. I guess, we cannot take one stone kill two birds.

Dinner time, this place is usually very packed!

餐廳很大吧？！朋友告訴說我說晚上的風景更漂亮，不過卻看不見眼前的景色～魚與熊掌不能兼得，這也給了我們可以再來第二次的理由。而且，晚餐時間會超級滿的！想要在晚上來的朋友們，最好打個電話來訂桌子。

Besides that, the way they deliver the foods is quite interesting. They are using BOAT! Normally your dining table is beside the lake. After you order the foods, they will drive the boat and cross over the lake to your dining table. Then, a waiter or waitress will take the foods from the boat to you!

這餐廳除了有著怡人的景色，還有一個更加吸引人的地方，那就是他們送上餐點的方式居然是用船來載？！這就是為什麼所有的用餐地點都會在湖邊的原因吧？他們會將餐點從在湖的另一頭的廚房用小船過來，一來不會影響食物的素質，而來速度夠快！很有趣對不對？

There is an interesting question! A lot of people always ask me : Where is Danok?

Danok is located at South Thailand. Using North-South Highway, move to north until the end! Right after you pass Kastam Bukit Kayu Hitam to Thailand, the place is Danok. Malaysians need passport or boader pass in order to go to Thailand. 

很多朋友都問我說Danok到底在哪裏？是什麼地方？

Danok就在泰國南部，也就是每年舉辦泰國潑水節的地方。從Malaysia，通過Kastam Bukit Kayu Hitam的地方就是Danok了。馬來西亞公民需要Passport 或者是Border Pass才可以進入泰國。

Waterview restaurant is a beautiful place to dine at, and you should come here when you are in Dannok for whatever reason it is.

Waterview餐廳除了環境優美之外，食物的品質也達到一定的水準，而且價錢不算貴，喜歡吃泰國餐的朋友可以帶家人或一大群朋友來這裡用餐。

Sometimes during the free time, all I want is just find a place to sit comfortably, reading magazine and enjoy a good cup of coffee. It is more of a family cafe and definitely a good place to chill out and be away from the hot weather. I'm totally addicted to their cozy ambiance and continental breakfast badly!!
每次有空的时候，我都喜欢找一间舒适的咖啡厅，静静地坐下来，阅读杂志，然后享受一杯热咖啡。Chilla Cup比较像家庭式的咖啡厅，是一个家人静静坐下来享受早餐还有避暑的好地方xD 第一次来这里，就深深滴爱上了他们那舒适的环境还有精选早餐。

Continental Brekfast (Choice of 3:RM 13.90, Choice of 5: RM 16.90, Choice of 7: RM 18.90)

2 slices toast with any 7 choices from below: scramble / sunshine egg, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, sausage, baked beans, sautee mushroom and beef bacon. I like this kind of continental breakfast, we can choose whatever we liked and no need to waste. The smell of the scramble egg is appetising, and the taste is amazing!

2片烤土司还有7种选择让你配搭，有：炒蛋／荷包蛋，炸马铃薯，烤番茄，热狗，烘烤番茄豆，爆香蘑菇还有牛肉培根。个人还满喜欢这样自行配搭式的早餐，可以选择自己爱吃的，这样一来不爱吃的就不用被浪费掉啊。 炒蛋的味道真的很香，吃下去的味道更赞啊！（个人是很爱吃鸡蛋和蘑菇啦）

Caramel Butter Thick Toast (RM 9.50)

I wasn't expecting it to be so good!! Somebody just keep praising this toast while we are having our own breakfast. It was served with a high dosage of whipped cream on the toast. Toasted will golden brown with generous amount of whipped cream and maple syrup.

焦糖牛油土司！原本对它没有什么太大的期望的，但我错了！这个真的很好吃啊！很值得推荐！有人一边吃还一边对它赞不绝口呢。烤得金黄色的吐司上配着满满的奶油，再淋上天天的焦糖酱，还有什么比这个更美味的呢？

Cafe Mocha Large (RM 12.00)

I had their cafe mocha large so we can share it together. I could taste the strong coffee taste, yummy. 

然后我们点了一杯大杯的摩卡。可能喝惯了starbucks的咖啡，习惯了他们家的咖啡味，不过Chilla Cup的咖啡也不错啦。

With the free wifi(wifi password printed on receipt), the comfortable couches,  the soft music in the background, and the mostly important wonderful company. We could just hang out over here for whole day. Chilla Cup provided us with such coziness and comfort that we felt so at home being there on Sunday morning. We definitely be back. 

伴随着无线网络（密码就在账单上哦），舒适的环境，还有轻松的背景音乐，最重要的是某人的陪伴xD 完美的早上就这么度过啦！让我在那里待一天都没问题呢。Chilla Cup是个适合静静用餐，聊天的好地方（尤其是周末），我们一定会再回来的

After I saw Jane Chuck (a famous local blogger who studied same University with me :p) Fans Page about the cute coffee art made by the barista from Coffee Stain by Joseph, I just HAD to go try and it out with hubby boy 

看到网络红人 Jane（出名部落客）的专页后，知道了Publika里面原来有一间那么棒的咖啡厅，安排一下时间后就马上和老公飞去试试看。再次鞠躬道歉说拖了稿子那么久啊！放在草稿里面都快生乌龟了。

Actually there have so many Publika Cafe & Bistro on my MUST TRY LIST, no idea where to start :p

其实Publika里面真的有很多很棒的餐厅，一半以上都已经被我列入MUST TRY LIST里面了，差点不知道要从哪里开始 :p

Actually, my purpose to Publika is to looking for some Tiramisu ingredients that import from other countries like Locatelli Mascarpone Cheese and President Whipping Cream and some more...(good news, Tiramisu making success!!)

其实我们去Publika的原因是想找做提拉米苏的材料，有些材料是入口货，不容易找到，比如说Locatelli的Mascarpone Cheese 和President Whipping Cream等等（顺带一提，提拉米苏制作大成功哦！） 

We had the extreme pleasure of discovering Coffee Stain by Joseph, which is the best way to discover most things you really like. It is a small and cozy family run cafe. The siblings are absolutely knowledgeable and passionate about their coffee. Sorry that I don't really know how to grade coffee, but I do know what is good and bad. I think that the coffee there is good. ( Sure barista is a cat lover too)

在Coffee Stain by Joseph实在是太舒适了，是等待灵感上门的最好时候，也胜在这里够安静，不过还是有一小部分不不识相的人。虽然咖啡厅的规格不大，但是空间的规划一点也不马虎，绝对不会有拥挤的感觉。虽然自己不知道怎么去识辨咖啡的好坏，但至少我还喝得出那些是好的咖啡。（咖啡师肯定是位爱猫之人）

Can't stand of Full breakfast(RM29) really full, my all-time favourite. Ordered it because I heard they have scrumptious breakfast, come and try it next time. 

每次打开菜单，一看到Full breakfast就肯定会毫不犹疑地下单。不过点这个的原因也是因为听说他们家的早餐不错，所以更加不用考虑啦！大家一定要来试试看！

And we also tried new creation by Sam: The Cool Cube. 100& Arabica Columbia Ice Cube + Silk Milk(RM 11.90) should try it out if you have a chance to Coffee Stain by Joseph, I think it will become their typical order in future. Unfortunately I'm suffering allergy to milk :( Rush to washroom for twice after drink a lil bit. But it's really worth to try!! So, please ignore my stomach.  Temporary available in Solaris Dutamas outlet only.

同时我们也尝试了Sam的新作： The Cool Cube。100％纯正的Arabica Columbia Ice Cube和顺滑的牛奶配合，简直好喝到无法形容。相信不久后，这个一定会成为他们的招牌啊！很可惜自己肠胃敏感，贪心地多喝几口后就马上往厕所奔（不过我可是很乐意跑他们家的厕所）无论痛多少次我还是会继续喝啊！暂时只有在Solaris Dutamas的咖啡店才有哦。

Brunch in Publika @Solaris Dutamas （早来的午餐，迟到的早餐）

Hi everyone, I was on the brink of slipping into a post-lunch nap but the idea of blogging slips into my mind all of a sudden. So, I'm here to update my blog about some photos I've taken last few days. Just show you how I spent my day especially my semester break and it's gonna end lolx. 

大家好！我又来了xD 原本吃了午餐就想睡个午觉的，但是脑袋就突然pop出一个要更新的念头，所以我就开始写啦xD 更新的是前几天和朋友去吃午餐的随拍，只是想让大家知道我的假期是怎么过的:p (假期到这个星期就正式结束了)

We went to Publika and I treated them for a lunch : Plan B. Last minute decision again. We just want to find some equipment for our DSLR and never expect we have time to shopping around.

原本只是想买一点相机器材的，买了之后看到时间还早，而且早在一个月前答应过带他们到Publika走走的，所以就这么临时地去了。去到那里，时间不上不下。反正大家都饿了，就决定在那里吃brunch~

Free a bottle of mineral water for each table. 

一坐下点餐后，服务员就会送上温水，每桌一瓶。

My Plan B Platter Breakfast RM26

Two eggs any style (e.g.: scramble/ fried...), served on toast with grilled turkey bacon, a golden hashbrown, smoked chicken sausage, baked beans, sauteed mushroom and cherry tomatoes. Come with fresh orange juice, and a choice of coffee or tea. Everything is so delicious!!! I don't really eat a lot for my breakfast and luckily my friends help me to finish it, APPRECIATE!!!

两颗鸡蛋（可以选择你要怎么煮）， 土司，土耳其培根，黄金马铃薯，烟熏鸡肉香肠，烤茄汁豆，蘑菇和圣女小番茄。再配上橙汁一杯和咖啡／茶。每一样都好好吃啊！不习惯早餐吃得那么多，幸好有朋友的帮忙，那么大一份的早餐才可以清光啊～～感激感激！

My friend with her Classic Beef Bolognese (RM21)and Hot Honey Lemon (RM8) 

Spaghettini tossed in rich, home-made minced beef and tomato sauce. I think it worth for RM21 because the portion is so big!!

朋友的牛肉意大利面和热蜜柠檬。正宗的意大利面煮得软硬适中，撒上家乡秘制牛肉碎还有番茄汁。个人觉得RM21是满值得的，因为除了好吃之外，份量也是很大啊。

Carbonara RM20

Spaghettini with turkey ham and sauteed mushroom, tossed in classic creamy sauce. So nice!! 

也是意大利面。配上土耳其火腿还有小蘑菇，上面再撒上起司片，酱汁是很经典的白汁啊！好赞！

The atmosphere in Plan B is so cozy and nice. We wear very cincai and it looks more like a student (Eh, We still student right?!)because we really didn't expect we can have our brunch over here. Btw, I don't think my outfit suits the ambiance. When I took a glance at the tea lounge around me, everyone around me dressed up like princesses. X_X My outfit is way too casual lol, wearing NTV7 Run tees 

and short pant.

那里的环境很优美浪漫，而且很舒适。而我们却穿得好随性，随性得来好随便xD （看起来就很学生得样子） 因为我们真的没预料到有足够的时间来这里逛逛，更想不到还有时间吃早餐。总的来说，我们的穿着真的和那里的餐厅格格不入啊哈哈哈哈。等待食物送上的时候，眼睛环绕了四周，大家都穿得像个公主一样X_X 而我们的穿着真的好随便啊～我也只是穿着NTV7 义跑的运动衫还有短裤平底鞋

Dinner at Kimberly Street

No idea where to start...so many pictures and food I've taken that day. I skipped my breakfast and lunch again =="
不知道怎么开始写，因为在槟城的第二天，我们Skipped掉了早餐和午餐。其实晚餐时间还拍了蛮多照片的，那就全写晚餐吧～

Yay, relaxing holiday I have. Sleep as late as we can, and wake up naturally ♥
其实在槟城那两天都很享受～想睡的时候才睡，第二天又睡到自然醒♥

We drive to Kimberley Street and decided to have our dinner here.
我们驾车经过了汕头街，看到这里还蛮多吃的，于是决定在这里吃晚餐。

The famous 4 stalls are around Kedai Sin Guat Keong, located at 86 Kimberly Street. They all start their business at 6pm except the Char Koay Teow, ealier at 5:30pm. The 4 stalls are 

在汕头街，有4个档口是非常非常出名的。所有档口大概在6点开始营业，除了待会儿介绍的炒粿条，他在5点半就开始开档了哦～出名的档口就是这以下4个:

(i) Char Koay Teow(炒粿条)– Stall outside Kedai Kopi Sin Guat Keong 
(ii) Koay Chiap(鸭肉粿汁) - opposite Kedai Kopi Sin Guat Keong 
(iii) Koay Teow Th’ng (粿條湯)- on the right of Si Ko Th'ng(Almond tea) stall 
(iv) Si Ko Th’ng(四果汤) & Heng Jin Teh (杏仁茶) or Almond tea - on the right of Char Koay Teow stall

Our 1st try is Char Koay Teow:

            第一档尝试的就是炒粿条：

Char Keoy Teow: RM3.70 (with egg) / RM3.00 (without egg)

I think this Char Keoy Teow is the best Char Keoy Teow in Penang. Fried flat noodles with prawns, slices of pork sausage, egg and cockles. It can be spicy, so just request to adjust how spicy you like it. (This is non-halal. Muslims should beware of this)

这个应该是我在槟城吃过最好吃的炒粿条了。粿条配上虾子，煮肉片，鸡蛋和我们所谓的屎蛤。还可以向老板要求加辣或者

是不辣～～但是个人认为少许的辣是不错的～呵呵～因为炒粿条里有猪肉，所以穆斯林的朋友

可能需要回避哦～

2. Fried Cake

曼煎糕

Fried Cake with sweet corn (RM 0.70) , without sweet corn (RM0.80)

The pancake is just......so so...The pancake is very thin, but the retraction is full. Full of peanut and sweet corn as you can see from the image ♥

曼煎糕没有想象中那么好吃（个人比较喜欢皮厚厚的曼煎糕）～这里的曼煎糕皮薄，但是馅料满满的！满满的花生米和甜玉米，就如图中一样～♥

3.Ah Hai's Koay Teow.

阿海粿条汤

Ah Hoi Kway Teow + Egg RM4.00

Further up of the road, we found Ah Hai's Kway Teow stall which situated at the busy intersection of Cintra & Kimberley Street. Slightly different from the common fish ball Kway Teow found in Penang or KL. Ah Hai's Kway Teow id freshly cooked with fish cake, pork slices, pork liver, minced pork and fish balls.  Round off the piping off the piping hot dish with poached egg. Patrons can choose from yellow noodles, mee hun, instant noodle or more. Prices range from RM 2.80 ~RM4.00

路口再往前一点，就可以看到阿海粿条汤的档口。阿海的粿条汤和槟城还有KL吃的粿条汤有一点点不一样。他们家的粿条汤里有鱼饼，猪肉碎，猪肝，猪肉还有鱼丸。送上来的时候还是新鲜热辣的呢！！好好吃！！象平时一样，有好几种面条供食客选择：黄面，快熟面等等。价钱大概是RM2.80~RM4.00

4. Famous Soya and 苋仔糕

I'm still wondering the soya with jelly and without jelly is having the same price :p

The soya is smooth, just like drinking water but full of taste of soya.Yummm~~ The uncle is selling 苋仔糕at the same time. We never see this before so we decided to try and now, I still don't know what it is and the ingredient. It tasteless but it totally different when we put it some sauce given. 

到现在我还是很好奇怎么有凉粉和没有凉粉的豆奶都是一样的价钱的？豆奶很顺滑，就和我们喝的白开水没有什么分别，只不过这白开水有着浓浓的豆奶味。看到档口同时也卖着苋仔糕，由于好奇心作祟，所以就买了一碗试试看。吃完后，还是不懂这是用什么做的～吃起来一点味道都没有，不过调味酱的味道很不错 :p

After we had our dinner, we decided to enjoy the night view in Penang.

吃过晚餐之后，就决定驾车在槟城随便绕一绕看看夜景。
