Brunch in Publika @Solaris Dutamas （早来的午餐，迟到的早餐）

Hi everyone, I was on the brink of slipping into a post-lunch nap but the idea of blogging slips into my mind all of a sudden. So, I'm here to update my blog about some photos I've taken last few days. Just show you how I spent my day especially my semester break and it's gonna end lolx. 

大家好！我又来了xD 原本吃了午餐就想睡个午觉的，但是脑袋就突然pop出一个要更新的念头，所以我就开始写啦xD 更新的是前几天和朋友去吃午餐的随拍，只是想让大家知道我的假期是怎么过的:p (假期到这个星期就正式结束了)

We went to Publika and I treated them for a lunch : Plan B. Last minute decision again. We just want to find some equipment for our DSLR and never expect we have time to shopping around.

原本只是想买一点相机器材的，买了之后看到时间还早，而且早在一个月前答应过带他们到Publika走走的，所以就这么临时地去了。去到那里，时间不上不下。反正大家都饿了，就决定在那里吃brunch~

Free a bottle of mineral water for each table. 

一坐下点餐后，服务员就会送上温水，每桌一瓶。

My Plan B Platter Breakfast RM26

Two eggs any style (e.g.: scramble/ fried...), served on toast with grilled turkey bacon, a golden hashbrown, smoked chicken sausage, baked beans, sauteed mushroom and cherry tomatoes. Come with fresh orange juice, and a choice of coffee or tea. Everything is so delicious!!! I don't really eat a lot for my breakfast and luckily my friends help me to finish it, APPRECIATE!!!

两颗鸡蛋（可以选择你要怎么煮）， 土司，土耳其培根，黄金马铃薯，烟熏鸡肉香肠，烤茄汁豆，蘑菇和圣女小番茄。再配上橙汁一杯和咖啡／茶。每一样都好好吃啊！不习惯早餐吃得那么多，幸好有朋友的帮忙，那么大一份的早餐才可以清光啊～～感激感激！

My friend with her Classic Beef Bolognese (RM21)and Hot Honey Lemon (RM8) 

Spaghettini tossed in rich, home-made minced beef and tomato sauce. I think it worth for RM21 because the portion is so big!!

朋友的牛肉意大利面和热蜜柠檬。正宗的意大利面煮得软硬适中，撒上家乡秘制牛肉碎还有番茄汁。个人觉得RM21是满值得的，因为除了好吃之外，份量也是很大啊。

Carbonara RM20

Spaghettini with turkey ham and sauteed mushroom, tossed in classic creamy sauce. So nice!! 

也是意大利面。配上土耳其火腿还有小蘑菇，上面再撒上起司片，酱汁是很经典的白汁啊！好赞！

The atmosphere in Plan B is so cozy and nice. We wear very cincai and it looks more like a student (Eh, We still student right?!)because we really didn't expect we can have our brunch over here. Btw, I don't think my outfit suits the ambiance. When I took a glance at the tea lounge around me, everyone around me dressed up like princesses. X_X My outfit is way too casual lol, wearing NTV7 Run tees 

and short pant.

那里的环境很优美浪漫，而且很舒适。而我们却穿得好随性，随性得来好随便xD （看起来就很学生得样子） 因为我们真的没预料到有足够的时间来这里逛逛，更想不到还有时间吃早餐。总的来说，我们的穿着真的和那里的餐厅格格不入啊哈哈哈哈。等待食物送上的时候，眼睛环绕了四周，大家都穿得像个公主一样X_X 而我们的穿着真的好随便啊～我也只是穿着NTV7 义跑的运动衫还有短裤平底鞋

Brunch Review : The Bee@Publika

Publika is one of my favorite place to shop, beside the cozy atmosphere, I also love those plenty choice of cafe and bistro over there.In case you didn't know, Publika is located somewhere in between Sri Hartamas/Mont Kiara (Correct me if I am wrong) and it has been in hype for some time for being an artsy fartsy mall, which is said to be Australian inspired.
Publika是我最爱去的购物商场之一，那里除了有非常舒适的环境之外，还有很多种不同种类的餐厅。Publika就在Sri Hartamas 和Mont Kiara之间，是一家非常有艺术气息的商场，而且大家公认他是走澳洲风格的哦。

In Publika, there is several food joints that are pretty reputable. There is Namoo Korea Snack Cafe, The Red Beanbag(my favourite), Fatboy's Burger, Plan B,Rakuzen Japanese Restaurant and so on. Pretty nice place to chill for breakfast, lunch and dinner and not much of shopping.
在Publika,有几间餐厅是特别受瞩目特别多人的，那就是Namoo韩国点心，The RedBean Bag(我的最爱哦），Fattyboy 汉堡，Plan B, 乐膳日本餐厅等等。这里不但适合吃早，午，晚餐，还是一个非常适合休闲购物的好地方哦。

Walked around the area and finally settled for The Bee! So tricky to find The Bee so we decided to ask the security guard for location, lol....
在那里走了好几圈之后一致决定要在The Bee用餐,可是在那里找来找去都找不到餐厅的位置，到最后还要向管理员询问才找到。

The Bee has a really nice ambience. It is huge and you can either choose to sit indoors or outdoors. Browsed their menu and looked at their variety of cakes (dessert, my favourite) before getting ourselves seated. To be honest, they have a very limited choice of food. I guess they are famous for The Last Polka ice cream, they always have Polka Ice-cream contest on their facebook fans page.

The Bee的环境真的很舒适，而且空间挺宽敞的，你可以自行选择在室内或是室外用餐。走进餐厅前大概看过一下他们的菜单，发现他们有卖好多种不同的甜点（女生的最爱，不过这次没点哦xD),但是食物的选择却比较少。不过他们家最出名的不是餐点，而是他们的Polka 雪糕，在脸书粉丝页上可以经常看到他们的比赛，下次有机会可以参加一下。

The waiter gave us the menu, and we looked through it. Not even halfway there yet and a waitress comes up to us to take our order. He is quite patient to wait even we said that we weren't ready to order lol.

服务生招待我们位子坐下后就快手快脚地拿了菜单过来。还没想到要吃什么的时候，服务生又来站在旁边准备给我们点餐了。虽然告诉了他我们还没想到要点什么，不过他真的很有耐心站在那里等啊。

I ordered a smoked salmon scramble.(RM22) Eggs scrambled with Norwegian smoked salmon and cream cheese, with parmesan-and-sage potato hash and bread of the day

我点了一个烟熏三文鱼炒蛋。烟熏挪威三文鱼与鸡蛋拌炒，然后再加上起司，最后还有附上圣人马铃薯做成的hash brown还有面包。

And my hubby boy ordered a Ham and Egg grilled cheese sandwich(RM 14.50). Italian turkey cheddar cheese on a Pain de Mie white bread.

而男友则点了一个火腿和鸡蛋烤奶酪三明治，食材是意大利火腿奶酪配烤白面包，还不错吃哦~~

For drinks, we ordered an Iced Latte(RM 8.50) Actually I ordered a Soda Fountain Classics( RM 9 ~Rootbeer, Key Lime, Cream Soda) but hubby boy said the photo looks like a shit floating on the drink so we didn't upload it, so sorry about it!!!!

饮料方面，我们点了一个冰拿铁。其实我还点了一个Rootbeer 加冰淇淋，不过老公说他拍的Rootbeer看起来就像一坨屎浮在饮料上，所以我们就决定不上传这照片啦~~

If you asked me whether I would come back again, I would someday just go to the Bee to get the Last Polka ice cream since everyone's been talking about. Other than that, I think is 5 out of 10 chance of going back?

如果你问我，我会不会再回去？我的答案是应该会~~不过是为了他们家的Polka Ice-cream而去，几率大概是一半吧？

The Baboon House @ Jalan Tan Cheng Lock, Melaka

Just a quick update before I go to Singapore-Phuket. I found that less people blog about this Baboon House Bistro so I decided to write about it.

在我又要离开马来西亚之前，先做一个快速间接的美食介绍吧。由于这个地方不是很多人知道，所以我决定先写这样一篇。

Viewing from the outside and even better once in, this was my first stop on day 1 in Melaka. Spent an hour chatting to boyfriend :p Actually it looks like a hand craft house more than bistro, that's why not so many people know there was a bistro after hand craft display.
The Baboon House 的外观，其实里面更吸引人更漂亮。这是我到马六甲后的第一站，在里面一边享受下午茶一边和男友聊得天花乱坠。 从外观上看起来，大家都会以为这是一间手作店或是花坊，因为外面摆放着画作以及标示着价钱。昂贵的价钱让人已经让人却步，所以很多人都不知道，画廊后面还有一个世外桃源。

Visit just to try their burger and  to see the layers of this wonderful building being slowly exposed to reveal many hidden treasures. The garden area is green and relaxing.

进来这里就是为了尝试一下他们的汉堡还有看看他们的特别之处。后院已经被满满的植物包围着，很舒适也很凉爽。

A very nice place to drink. 
享受下午茶的好地方。

很简单的菜单，只有两页，一目了然。

Baboon Beef Burger RM14.80

Baboon Beef Burger.We wait for 20mins for a burger but we loved it!!  Juicy, fresh and with really good bread! Everything is homemade! It really worth for waiting 20mins.
点餐后等了20多分钟才送上我们的牛肉汉堡。他们家的汉堡都是homemade的，多汁，有嚼劲而且很新鲜，面包也很松软，值得等上20分钟。

The burger are wonderful!! So far I never try a beef burger having such this thick and big portion!! The potato wedges also good. The salad included fresh tomatoes, apple, cucumber and lettuce ,stir with Coriandrum sativum and mayonnaise.
汉堡实在是太美味了，即使是像我一样不爱吃汉堡的女生也会爱上它。长那么大，还真的没看到肉给得那么厚又那么大份的汉堡。马铃薯也很好吃，脆脆的，很爽口。沙拉也很好吃，里面有番茄，苹果，黄瓜和莴苣，再用蛋黄酱以及少许芫茜搅拌。幸好芫茜的味道不是很重。

Darjeeling Tea RM4.90

The Best Tea of the world and also my favourite Darjeeling Tea.  Darjeeling tea is a tea from the Darjeeling district in West Bengal, India.Darjeeling Tea" means tea which has been cultivated, grown, produced, manufactured and processed in tea gardens(Fyiii, I'm not come to introduce Darjeeling Tea)

大吉岭茶，是世界十大好茶之一，据我所知是排名第一的，不知道现在还是不是。大吉岭茶产于印度，大吉岭的意思就是在茶园里培育，种植，生产，制造和加工的意思。(好吧，今天不是来介绍茶叶的）

Cappucino Ice Blended RM8.20

Can't stand for the hyper hot weather so we decided to order a cold drink. But Baboon House are famous of their Nanyang Coffee, should try it :(

由于天气太热了，所以我们忍不住点了一杯冷饮。不过The Baboon House 的南洋咖啡也很出名，应该要试一试的。

The Baboon House has a very nice and cosy interior in an old building next to our hotel, and was interesting to explore. Took a stroll through the house, and met a duck in a cage and two turtles in a pond in the lovely backyard.This is really a nice spot here in Melaka!

正当我们要离开的时候，他们家的猫咪突然走了出来，走到餐厅里的每个人脚下绕一绕。

Be Lohas Healthy Cuisine 樂活 (BMS Organic思源有機) @Balakong

"Being a vegetarian is to be healthy” is undoubtedly right.Unfortunately, some vegetarian foods in the market contain MSG, GMO ingredients, preservatives, pesticides, and most of them are prepared with high temperature deep frying.
无可否认地，吃素是一件很健康的饮食习惯。但是，很多素食馆或者是商场售卖的素食品都含有味精，GMO成分，防腐剂，杀虫剂，而且大多数都经过高温油炸。

BMS Organics started promoting healthy organic vegetarian food products in 1997 via retail. The first Lohas Healthy Cuisine was founded in 2007. LOHAS stands for “Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability” which means living a lifestyle that is healthy and environmentally friendly. 
BMS思源有机从1997年就开始推广有机素食产品连锁店，第一间乐活有机蔬菜馆则是在2007才开始被推广的。乐活一直坚持着可持续发展的健康生活方式，意思是共享一个健康以及不破坏环境的生活。

Last Saturday was my very first time to try organic vegetarian food in Lohas @Balakong,KL.
I have know this BMS Organic outlet for long term yet never know it also promoting healthy organic vegetarian food.
上星期六是我第一次尝试有机素食，就坐落在Balakong.知道这间思源有机产品店好一段时间了，但是从来不知道他们还有推广有机食品。

Plenty choices. We can found beverage, baby product,seeds & nuts, cereal, chinese herb, household essential, even organic pet food and even more.
这里有很多种不同的选择，饮料，宝宝产品，种子，麦，中药，家庭用品，甚至宠物粮等等。

The Lohas Healthy Cuisine was located at 2nd floor.
乐活就在商店的楼上。

LOHAS stands for “Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability” which means living a lifestyle that is healthy and environmentally friendly. Honestly, they did well.
老实说，乐活的宗旨: 可持续发展的健康方式，真的是做得非常好！！

Le Huo” in Chinese which means living happily. lt has never been easy to be in the organic vegetarian food and beverage business. Spreading the message of healthy living had and still does require determination and persistence. 
乐活在中文的意思是活得快乐。可是将这种宗旨通过食物来传达，还真的不容易。

We were served with Citronella Ginger Tea and Chlorella before meal.
点餐后，他们会送上免费的香茅姜片以及绿藻。

All the meals we ordered were quite big in portion.This is Vegetarian Bak Kut Teh.Touted as a tonic herbal soup to boost health, this rich herbal soup is the epitome of the health and wholesomeness. You can really feel the strong aroma of herbs. 
其实食物都还蛮大份的。这一份药材味浓郁的素肉骨茶，少了一份油腻，多了一份健康。

Bak Kut Teh served with brown rice. Yummy :)

糙米饭，没有任何配料也很好吃！

Soy Milk Curry Laksa.This curry laksa is made by grinding traditional Indian spices with local chili , then cook slowly over low fire. 

豆奶咖喱面。由厨师精心调配的咖喱配方，以慢火熬煮。经过不断地搅拌以避免烧焦和粘锅。香喷喷的咖喱味，入口滑顺德汤汁，让人难以抗拒。

Mushroom Sauce Steak, come with fresh potatoes, tomatoes and a bowl of salad. Of course it's veggie also. This steak is super duper triple delicious. Honestly, I prefer this veggie steak more than other real meat steak. The meat is very springy, chewy and firmer mouthfeel. Mushroom sauce contained slices king trumpet mushroom, Malaysian usually call abalone mushroom. 

野菌酱素扒，配料还有新鲜马铃薯，番茄以及一大碗沙拉（当然也是素的啦 :p) 这素扒真的超级无敌好吃啊！！说实话，我以后都不会再吃肉扒了。这素扒非常有弹性，有嚼劲而且也很有口干！野菌酱里面还有一片片的杏鲍菇片，马来西亚华人都管它叫鲍鱼菇。

on't remember the name of it but it's really good!!!

综合果汁。橙色那杯是橙+柠檬，有美肌的效用。而另一杯是萝卜汁+ 什么（忘记了）不过这真的超级好喝的，有补血的效用（看颜色就知道）
