Sem Break begins

Happy Mid-week and Happy Holiday to myself. Is delighting when we get to know we no need to take the exam with other courses yet we just have to finish our FINAL ARTWORK!
令人愉快的星期三和假期！听到我们设计系不需要和其他科系一起考试而只需要做出final artwork的时候，那种心情真的是非笔墨能形容的开心啊！

Curious what I did for the pass 2months? I'm gonna to show off my artwork today. Opps, is to conclude :p

过去两个月都不在这里，有没有很好奇我到底做了什么东西呢？今天我就在这里小小地炫耀一下吧～opps,是总结一下～

Final Artwork for Typography: Text as image
文字排版: Text as image

I take about 20photos of my baby kitty and arrange it to : NO ORDINARY CAT , as these few words are related to kitty.
我拿了将近20张宝贝猫咪的照片来排成: NO ORDINARY CAT, 刚好排成了有关猫咪的字。

For sure, besides final artwork, I've also done few artwork for typography
And This is magazine design :p
当然，除了Final Artwork, 我也做了很多有关Typography的功课。下图不难看得出是杂志设计把？ :p

Big project for the next. Calendar design, lecture gave us 2 options, design 12horoscope or 12Chinese Zodiac, and our group choose 12Chinese Zodiac due to 12Horoscope are too common. We spent almost a month to draw the Zodiacs, Colouring, Paper picking, Arranging, Printing, Paper Cutting and Binding. We even makes the calendar stand by hard paper.  And this is the come out:

最大的 Project 莫过于这份日历制作了。Lecture给我们两个选择，一个是12星座，另一个则是12生肖（我常常念成12星肖，却没有想到可以将这两个结合在一起）我们选择做12生肖，因为12星座实在是太普遍了（因为很多人都选择设计12星座的缘故）我们这组花了将近一个月的时间来制作，从设计，上色，选纸，排版，印刷，剪纸到定装。就连Calendar Stand都是我们从大老远跑去买纸然后纯手工折的。以下就是成品：

We use 3 different kind of paper to make the cover, content and calendar stand. Although the calendar is not so big(only A5 size) but we really facing a lot of problem while in progress. I have uploaded my calendar to my Facebook fans page few days ago, and it's delighting when I received somebody message and ask me whether we are going to sell this calendar. I take it as a compliment :p Thanks for supporting yah ♥

我们用了3中不同的纸张来制作封面，内容还有calendar stand. 虽然日历不是很大，但是在制作过程中真的遇到不少麻烦。很令人欣慰的事情是，前几天正式做好日历后上传到Facebook 粉丝页，有位粉丝私下询问说这日历卖不卖。我当作这是赞美啦！我和组员们谢谢你的支持哦♥

Another good news is, I won a prize in Comtemporary Art Contest last few weeks. Most people of my gang won it too(Perfect gang!! give yourself an applause xD)and out of 11student of my course won too!! Such a big good news to everyone, especially our lecture and parents xD Big thanks to my lectures, parents, friends and hubby boy. Thanks for supporting and celebration although it's not a big prize yet I'm really appreciate!

另一个好小心就是：我赢得了现代艺术设计奖！班上多数人都赢了，我们这一gang多数人也是拿到了（我们这一gang很优秀啊！给自己一个掌声吧！）这对大家来说真的是个令人振奋的好消息，尤其是对我们的Lecture和家长 xD 谢谢大家啊！虽然这不是一个大奖！但是有你们的支持还有得奖后的大肆庆祝，让我觉得我真是个幸福的小屁孩～～

Natural Handmade Soap @ Sweet Summer Cottage,Malacca

Back in the alley of Jonker Street, Malacca, behind Geographer's Cafe, there's a really pretty shop that's too hard for you to miss. This shop specialized in making soap, and not just ordinary soap.They are making natural essential oil soap.
再次回到马六甲的小巷里头，就在地理学家餐厅的后面，有一间不容许错过的别致小屋。这间小屋专卖肥皂，而且不是普通的肥皂哦，他们卖的是纯天然精油肥皂。

I discovered this shop when I ready to go back to KL, still remember I ever said that I go to buy durian puff before I leave Malacca? Yes, and then I found this on the way back to hotel. Since then, I've been wondering when will I visit Malacca and when I'm there, I will definitely buy more soaps to stock up.
在准备回家之前无意中发现了这间小屋，还记得我说过我在离开马六甲之前又再回去Taste Better买流连泡芙吗？我就是这样不小心发现他们的。还在想，如果我有机会再去马六甲的话，一定要多买一点他们家的肥皂存放在家里。

It's decorated so girly and cute. a lot of white furniture and flowery themed. I went inside and actually this is a 'handmade soap' shop. The shop keeper is actually the owner who is also the maker of all of these soaps.

店里装饰得非常女性化，很温柔可爱，多数的家具都是采用纯白色，然后再用一些小花做点缀。进去之后才发现，他们卖的是纯天然的手工肥皂。店长就是老板娘，也是这些手工肥皂的“妈妈”。

The best thing about their soap is, they are 100% handmade. There is no addictional chemicals in their products. The ingredients are just natural glycerin and essential oils, maybe some additional ingredients like milk, oat or honey. These soap are best for sensitive skin people like me. I'm having very worst congenital sensitive skin, from top to leg, from front to back. When I'm suffering from those rashes, the only thing I can use is natural soap from Lullabelle handmade anti-allergy handmade soap. Lullabelle is good, but these soap smells better.

他们家的肥皂是完全100% 手工制造，没有额外的化学成分。制作材料都是非常纯的甘油和精油，再来就是牛奶，燕麦或者是蜜。这些纯天然，无化学成分的手工肥皂非常适合皮肤敏感的人使用，就像我一样。我有着严重的先天性皮肤敏感，平时只能用成分非常纯的肥皂来洗澡。一向来都是使用Lullabelle的手工肥皂，现在开始尝试Sweet Summer Cottage的，闻起来比较香（不是说Lullabelle的不好哦！）

Olive Marseille Soap (RM0.30/gram) , agak-agak RM25++ persoap

I have to admit they are quite pricey. But it is really that good, it is worth every cent we paid for. 

不得不承认他们家的手工肥皂有点小贵，可是胜在用后效果非常好，值得这个价钱。而且手工肥皂不容易做啊！

We didn't take too much photos because we are too busy to choosing soap bar.Except soap bar, they also selling Natural Lip Balm,Liquid Hair Care Soap, Conditioner, Facial Mousse, Body Salt Scrub and so much more.I also bought a bottle of insect repellent spray. Because of my worst congenital sensitive skin, my skin will have scar easily after mosquitoes bite even I never scratch my wound.So I love the that mosquitoes hate :p

在这里没有拍得太多因为我们都忙于选择适合自己的肥皂。除了手工肥皂，他们也有卖护唇膏，护发液，洁面慕丝，去角质的海盐等等。我也买了他们家的精油防蚊液。因为有着非常敏感的皮肤，所以被蚊子叮后就会留下褐色的疤痕，即使我从来没有去抓痒/伤口。所以我喜欢蚊子讨厌的味道:p

So if you are planning to go to Melaka, you should check out this store.They only have one store and it is in Melaka. But she does say that maybe if you email her, she will be able to ship the soaps to where you live.Hopefully they will last as long as I needed their natural soap

如果有去马六甲而你恰恰需要这些纯天然肥皂的话，一定要到这里来看看，只此马六甲一间。不过老板娘说过，如果有需要的话，可以e-mail给她，她会用包裹邮寄方式寄到你家 :)

Bubuwa Handmade House @ Kota Damansara

If you like to make your own things or learn how to, Bubuwa Handmade is definitely a great place to do so.After a session of eyelash extension around the corner last week,I go alone to visit this relaxing shop I'd always wanted to go.

如果你喜欢自己动手做手工的话，布布娃手工坊肯定是一个好地方。自从上个星期来这里学习做手工娃娃后，我敢说：我爱上这个地方了！而且以后一定会再去啊。

Pei Pei, open up this place months back and plenty of handmade items selling there are made by her, she also hold handmade classes if you are interested in learning. 
佩佩在几个月前开了这间手工坊，如果你有兴趣学做手工娃娃的话，还可以上来参与他们做手工的课程。

Bubuwa Handmade not only offer handmade goodies but also offer a fair range of DIY materials for crafters. While I was there, another enthusiastic lady was around discussing plenty of DIY matters with Pei Pei, while our lady boss answers them with a huge smile plaster across her face all the time. Don't have to be afraid of the lady boss now! :P
布娃娃不但有卖独一无二的手工娃娃，还有售卖手工材料。我在手工房的时候，看到佩佩一直都是保持着微笑和一位顾客讨论着关于手工的事情。所以不用怕这位老板娘啦，她人真的很好。

Do doubt, I'm really not talented in handmade stuff.Everyone can finish make a sock doll in 2 hours more yet I spent 3 hours almost 4 hours to finish it. BREAK THE RECORD in Bubuwa Handmade House (Sounds proud :p)
无可否认的，我在手工这方面真的没有什么天分。大家都可以在大概2个小时半的时间内完成制作一个袜娃娃，而我却用了3个小时多将近4个小时来完成，还破了这里的纪录。(其实我回家又再将我的娃娃缝了好几遍）

Luckily, Pei Pei (the boss) really patient enough to teach. Don't worry if you are not talented in handmade stuff like me. You sure can do your handmade doll under patient teaching by Pei Pei.

幸好，佩佩（这里的老板）真的很有耐心教。如果你象我一样真的没有天分的话也不用担心，无论如何，佩佩都会带着你做直到你完成自己的手工娃娃为止。
